Quarantine tank	an aquarium intended for the temporary housing of any living specimen to assess its state of health before exhibition in a display tank in order to prevent transmission of disease to specimens already there

Quinaldine	a chemical anesthetic sometimes used to stun fish for veterinary extermination, or to make them easier to collect; there is some controversy about whether this is harmful to the fish or to other organisms in the area of capture
